Acorn Lodge

This holiday lodge is one of the properties that benefit from allocated parking.  The secure front door leads into the large hall with a coat hanger and shoe storage. Coming off the hall on the left-hand side, there is a twin bedroom with a wardrobe and bedside unit. A large shower room with a toilet is located opposite the downstairs bedroom. The hall leads further to the lounge/kitchen/dining room fitted with high-quality flooring throughout. A rear door leads onto a large decking area equipped with a patio table, six chairs, and a 6-seater hot tub.  The hot tub is the ultimate relaxation spot to be enjoyed by our guests. The modern lounge area is warm and cosy, furnished with a corner sofa, a coffee table and a Smart TV.

The kitchen is fully equipped to a high standard with a dishwasher, microwave oven, kettle, electric oven, stainless steel cooker extractor, four-burner gas hob, two drawer air-fryer, and a fridge freezer. The dining area offers a coffee table and six comfortable chairs.

Upstairs you will find the master bedroom featuring a double bed, a vanity unit, a wardrobe, and two bedside units.

The second upstairs bedroom features two comfortable single beds, a vanity unit, and a wardrobe. Fresh bed linen is supplied for your stay, allowing you to have the most relaxing sleep during your time away.

The upstairs bathroom boasts a large bath, a washbasin, a toilet, and a heated chrome towel rail. Fresh hand and bath towels are provided for all guests upon arrival.

Acorn lodge is located within Finlake Resort & Spa (owned by Haulfryn), set across 130 acres of beautiful Devonshire countryside. It is right on the doorstep of Dartmoor National Park and only a short drive away from the seaside (English Riviera). The on-site leisure complex offers a heated indoor and outdoor pool with water flumes, an adventure playground, a luxury spa, and a fitness centre. Various on-site group activities for all ages are available for booking at the resort and the tennis and basketball courts. The two on-site coarse fishing lakes are full of bream, roach, dace, large crucian carp and perch. The on-site café and the Retreat (Sports Bar & Restaurant) serve lovely breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. In the evenings you can also enjoy a game of pool or occasional guest singers.

The Finlake resort, owned and managed by Haulfryn Group Limited offers a fabulous leisure complex with a heated indoor waterpark/pool, excellent fitness centre, well-equipped gym, sauna, and steam room. Furthermore, onsite group indoor and outdoor activities for all ages and abilities are available onsite. Why not try something new or adventurous? Children will love the outdoor pool with a water slide and a splash area for toddlers during the summer months. Similarly, the onsite adventure park, nature trails, tennis courts, coarse fishing lakes and horse riding provide sporting opportunities for everyone.

The onsite Retreat Bar and Restaurant serves lunch and à la carte evening meals. Similarly, the Hub offers breakfast, light bites and an extensive takeaway menu for the guests to enjoy freshly cooked food in the comfort of their own accommodation.
