Finlake Holiday Park Rules for Dog Owners

The Finlake Holiday Park is a great place to bring your dog, with 130 acres of grounds to explore and plenty of nearby attractions such as Dartmoor and local beaches – perfect for long walks and new adventures. To help ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, please follow these guidelines:

Keep Your Dog on a Lead

Dogs must remain on a lead while walking around the resort, regardless of how well trained they are. Off-lead exercise is only permitted in designated areas such as the bridle path, woodland trails, and the meadow.

Clean Up After Your Dog

Always pick up after your dog and place waste in the bins provided. These can be found at the entrances and exits of the woodland walks and around the park.

Finlake Holiday Park Restricted Areas

Dogs are not allowed in:

  • Children’s play areas

  • The indoor areas of The Retreat restaurant (they are welcome on the terrace and in the hard-floor section of the bar)

  • The outdoor pool area

  • Any hired accommodation that is not specifically marked as pet-friendly

Be a Considerate Owner

Please keep dogs off furniture and beds. Only leave your dog unattended if you’re confident they won’t bark excessively or cause any damage while you’re away.
